Job Description:
As a Blockchain Genomics Engineer at DNA Protocol, you’ll work at the frontier of cryptography and bioinformatics. You’ll architect the GenomeChain infrastructure, develop secure hashing standards for DNA data, and optimize performance for high-volume, high-integrity on-chain operations. This role bridges blockchain protocols and real-world biological identity.
Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain GenomeChain infrastructure built on XRPL

Design cryptographic logic for DNA hash conversion

Collaborate with bioinformatics and data science teams

Optimize transaction flows and ledger throughput

Conduct protocol-level audits and performance testing
Preferred Qualifications:

3+ years in blockchain development (XRPL)

Solid understanding of cryptographic hashing (SHA256, Blake2, etc.)

Experience with DNA sequence formats (FASTA, FASTQ)

Strong in Rust, Go, or TypeScript
